The dream of owning my own business has always been adamant. I believe that there is a greater plan for everyone and this belief was confirmed when, in 2018, I found myself retrenched and unemployed for 8 months. There it was, the opportunity for me to finally take that leap of faith and make my dream a reality.

I have full confidence in the notion that in life, you have to take charge of every situation and make every moment count.  When life throws you a curve ball, you have to take it in your stride and never let it keep you down. Challenges are crucial for success, these obstacles are what build your strength and shape your character.

My main objective when starting my business was to provide products that would fit into most people’s budgets. Another important factor was my desire to provide women with the opportunity to earn an extra income by becoming agents, and this I believe is one of my greatest achievements. My one aspiration is that every woman will find their PASSION to dream again. As they say, a goal without a plan is just a wish so PRAY and write down that plan, because that is just what I did.

Success doesn’t happen overnight, it takes great commitment, dedication, sweat, long hours and some tears. 

I am extremely excited about this journey and trust that the best is yet to come. I want to see Smitten not only grow in Africa, but extend globally.

Among all these, my most significant mission is to leave a legacy for my girls to pave a brighter future for them both.
